Family time

Happy National Day! Thanks to Mr Lee for giving us this holiday.

Basically, I get to spend good quality time with my family, having lunch together at Bedok South Blk 16. The char kway teow and char siew there are simply yummilicious! After that, we went home and played mahjong. Managed to win only $3 bucks at the end. Haha. My mum was real lucky to win the ‘yi tiao long’ at the last round.

“Five stars arising”…after singing the National Anthem while watching the NDP show, we went to Arena country club to have ala carte buffet at Tung Lok Seafood Restaurant.

p1020288.jpg The sharks fin soup was quite solid. =)

p1020286.jpg I think I had at least 2 plates of this. ‘Nan fang shu kao’. Your best alternative to Peking Duck. Hmmz…I feel that it’s even NICER than Peking Duck! The dried beancurd is sooooo crispy and the beancurd skin wrap is thick with a malty taste.

p1020301.jpg Beef tenderloin. Really tasty and tender. However, my vote still goes to the beef tenderloin from ‘Taste Paradise’.

p1020312.jpg Peanuts with dough. MMmmm…you can’t go wrong.

*Love seeing you in bright colours!*

Yes, the food was delicious, costing $73 per couple. However, it is the company that you are with that makes the food tastes even better. I really look forward to spending more quality time with my family.

Here are the 3 words that I seldom say to my dearest Mum and Dad – I love you.
