Mama Mia!

Mama Mia indeed!!! What can I say…it’s simply a feel good show! Despite I was having the flu bug bugging me, this show left me tapping the little germs away. Though I didn’t know all the songs, but most of their songs got me tapping along…especially….”The Dancing Queen”.

I’ve always loved musicals. Watching musical on the movie screen is another kind of experience. In theatres, the performers are definitely better singers, as they have to express much more through their singing. However, musicals done by these actors and actresses are certainly a different kind of taste altogether. They are able to act out much better, espcecially when you have a seasoned actress, such as Meryl Streep! I love the way she sang “The winner takes it all”…so dramatic, and I could feel her emotions! Well, Pierce Brosnan aside, the rest of the cast were wonderful, especially Mama’s sidekicks!

All in all…this show is simply….Mama Mia!!!

Rain

I sat by the window seat as I was riding the bus home. It was raining. As I looked out of the window, with the rain split splatting on my window, everything looked so beautiful outside. I started to wonder why. It seemed that things, surroundings and people just looked better when they seemed blurry. Hence, when we don’t see people or things too clearly, will we be able to see the beautiful and wonderful side of others? Well, it just somehow seem this way to me. The more we understand others, sometimes, you will see the dark side and ugly side of them. I guess all of us need a little rain in our lives once in a while, to hide our dark side from others, as well as to allow us to see the good blurry side in others.

It’s been a while now…

It’s been a while since I last blogged. Lots of things have happened and my mind has been cluttered with too many thoughts. I guess my brain definitely have become a few kilograms heavier.

I’m so glad that the mediacorp project is completed. I’ve done my best and that’s all that matters.

Went through the wedding photoshoot, and realised that it is surely not easy to be model, especially when it comes to the twisting neck movements. Walking in the sand in high heels is another task that I’m glad I don’t have to do on a daily basis. Chosen the photos too, and was really proud of myself for not succoming to any photo-sales tactics. Kudos to the boss for his effort nonetheless.

In a week’s time, it’s going to be term break again! But this time, I’m not so looking forward to next term though my wedding is in next term. Because, I know that next term is not going to be the same…without my sisters there to go though the ups and downs at work. I’m surely going to miss them, but just trying not to think about it too much now.

Done a personality analysis test, and I found the results to be rather accurate.

Good-natured Realists

Good-natured Realists are warm-hearted, helpful personalities. They do their work conscientiously and have a pronounced organising talent. They often feel they are committed to traditional values. The family in particular is extremely important to Good-natured Realists. Their greatest pleasure is making themselves useful and taking care of other people. But they do not like pushing themselves to the fore; they prefer to fulfil their tasks out of the limelight. Good-natured Realists are real workaholics; they are very reliable and nothing is too much for them when it is a question of completing a project. Thoroughness, conscientiousness and sense of duty are their strongest points. They prefer established and familiar situations to new and unknown situations.

In dealing with others, Good-natured Realists are considerate and obliging; they are always happy to put aside their own requirements in the interest of their family and friends. Their home is mostly very well cared-for, cosy and tidy. Their perfectionism on the one hand and their aversion to delegating tasks on the other hand often lead to them taking on too much both professionally and privately. They cannot stand discord; conflicts make them very unhappy. One could almost describe them as being harmony-addicted – and this sometimes leads them to strongly neglecting themselves and their own wishes because they are unable to bring themselves to put up a fight.

Good-natured Realists dream of a stable and trusting relationship for life. Marriage and family are very important to them. They take care of their partner attentively and lovingly and put up with a lot for a harmonious relationship. They are also loyal and reliable friends. However, they can be very hurt if their interpersonal commitment is taken for granted for too long.

(so so true…especially the last paragraph)
